Give us a call. We’ll arrange a time to visit you, your family and/or any authorized representative to fully discuss your particular home care situation and how TruLuv Home Cares Services can best assist you. Together, we will discuss your family’s needs and the care we provide. We will answer any questions regarding our services and cost. Once we create a care plan that is best for your family, services can begin within 3-4 business days.

How is the privacy of my personal information maintained? 2017-07-02T20:04:28+00:00

We adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines related to privacy of personal and healthcare information. This starts once we have a formal services agreement, before a caregiver even comes to your family member’s home. The written service agreement stipulates the exact restrictions on the use of your information, which clarifies that even unauthorized individuals will not be given access to information without a client’s – or legally authorized representative’s – formal consent.

Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and caregivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.

Do I pay the caregiver directly? 2017-07-02T19:58:00+00:00

No. You (or an authorized representative) are only invoiced after the completion of services. Usually, this happens weekly. There will never be a time where you pay a caregiver directly. There is never an additional fee that will need to be paid to an employee.

Are home care services covered by insurance or Medicare? 2017-07-02T19:57:32+00:00

Medicare provides an Eligibility Tool to see if your family member may qualify for coverage. TruLuv Homecare services may be able to assist with documentation to third parties such as long-term care insurance companies that will help you obtain the best coverage possible.

Additionally, TruLuv has preferred relationships with some companies who may fully reimburse or partially reimburse for home healthcare. Typical accounts for reimbursement include reverse mortgage, health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible spending accounts.

We also work with reimbursement programs like the Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefit, which is a benefit paid in addition to the monthly pension paid to Veterans and surviving spouses who require our services.

Each family receives a Custom Care Plan specific to their needs. Several factors help determine the exact cost:

  • Number of hours of care per week
  • Level of home care services received

Services are typically billed at an hourly rate. To further discuss exact rates, please contact our office. We will be glad to assist you in selecting a care plan that fits your budget. Our process starts with an in-home consultation, after which, we can discuss your customized plan.

Is Physician authorization required for services? 2017-07-02T19:55:44+00:00

No. You don’t need pre-authorization, pre-qualification, certification or prescription for TruLuv Homecare Services. As the customer, you will choose the services you want, the start date of services, and the frequency of service utilization.

If you request assistance with billing a private insurance policy (such as long-term care insurance) for our services, we’re happy to help with the entire “benefits coordination” process. This includes providing any documentation you need for reimbursement by an insurance carrier.

Yes. Caregivers at TruLuv Homecare are employees. To ensure your family members safety and well-being, we complete a criminal history background clearance and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
